VSME- THE VOLUNTARY SUSTAINABILITY REPORTING STANDARD FOR SME’S (5 hrs)
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) criteria are increasingly being embedded in the supplier assessment process. As a result, companies belonging in the broader value chain, which are mostly SME’s must adhere to numerous sustainability related requirements that are constantly evolving. Within this evolving regulatory framework, they need to embed ESG criteria into their business and report on their actions and initiatives following International & European Standards and frameworks.

This comprehensive course dives into Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDD) based on the latest regulatory framework introduced by various jurisdictions. The Double Materiality approach (DMA) helps organisations make sense of how their business affects and is affected by ESG topics by assessing both the impacts but also dependencies (Risks and Opportunities)- IRO they might have on the environment and society. In other words, how they impact the world around them (outwards) and how it impacts them financially (inwards).
